Automatic country selection uses a local copy of the user-country database from sapics/ip-location-db (PDDL-1.0). Subdivision choices use country-region-data (MIT), and the hosting platform supplies its approximate IP region and timezone when available. On Azure, detection provides a country only; its default region and timezone are used. You can always change every location setting.
Date calculations use date-fns and the UTC timezone adapter. Public-holiday snapshots come from Nager.Holidays; holiday pages show their coverage and retrieval date. The site interface is available in English, French, Spanish and Russian.

IP location data and update dates
